Interview with "Old Stories"

Old Stories is a Pop Punk band from Tampa, Florida that formed in 2013. check out their jams here https://www.facebook.com/OldStoriesFL. I got the pleasure to interview shawn from the band.

TIPPP:  Who are your influences?

Old Stories: Our influences are City Lights, The Story So Far, Such Gold, Handguns, The Wonder Years, Set Your Goals, Fireworks and Little Caesars Pizza.

TIPPP: Are you guys on tour right now? If so with who? If not do you have any coming up and with who?

Old Stories:  No were not, we're actually having our first show on 6/16 w/You Me and Everyone We Know. and we would love to book one for december but who knows as of right now.

TIPPP: When will the debut ep be released?

Old Stories:  We're currently waiting for the rest of the master to get back to us so hopefully within the next 2 weeks.

TIPPP:  How has the feedback been on the first song?

Old Stories: Really good actually,people have been asking about it for a while. Its been shared a bunch from our friends on facebook already. W'ere just very excited to have music out and it be something that people enjoy listening to.

TIPPP:  What is your favorite and lease favorite thing about being in a band?

Old Stories:  Favorite thing is getting to be around your best friends all the time and playing music, least favorite thing is clashing ideas and personalities.

TIPPP: How did you guys form?

Old Stories:  Well Tyler and Roman and this kid Adam had a project and I wasn't in a band at the time so i was like yo let me jump on vocals. So i met up with Tyler and Roman and started writing, Adam was always busy and couldn't make it to practice so we asked our buddy Chandler to play drums for us. We only had one guitarist at this point so we were in search of another one. One day we needed a place to practice and our buddy Jake said we could practice at his place. We got to practice and he said he was really into our stuff and he brought out his guitar just to jam a little bit and we asked him to play for us.

TIPPP: Anything else you want to share with everyone?

Old Stories:  We would just like to thank anyone that has checked out our single so far and we hope you look forward to hearing the rest of the ep as much as we do. Thanks guys!
